After a long hiatus from posting, I’ve returned to post a new music video from the legendary Massive Attack. The song is called Splitting the Atom from their new album Heligoland; and the amazing video is directed by Edouard Salier. Check it out:
MK12 never ceases to amaze. They recently produced some stunning motion design for the latest Bond film - Quantum of Solace. Check out their new Spring 2009 show reel:
Created by Stink Digital and Director Adam Berg for Philips’ new CINEMA 21:9 TV. Some awesome visuals and a perfectly looping video. Adam takes us through a frozen in time shootout sequence between police and some freaky looking clowns. Check it out:
I know it’s the Christmas season, and I know this isn’t a very “Christmas-y” post, but I was walking past my local theater the other day and I finally saw a poster for the upcoming movie, The Watchmen and I just had to write about it cuz it looks wicked.
The trailer for this movie has been floating around for a long time now; I’ve watched it a dozen times, and I have to say, I am beyond impressed. FINALLY, an action trailer than isn’t cut to a techno song. Instead, they used a b-side track by the Smashing Pumpkins, which gives the trailer an awesomely dark and sinister feel. Totally cool, and completely refreshing. Please, no more techno…
Based on the classic Watchmen comic book series, this isn’t just another superhero Film. The FX look absolutely amazing, the story looks nice and dark; it’s definitely setting the bar high for the final movie. But if it turns out to be crap, they should just release the trailer on DVD, because I’ll buy it! Check it out:
This is a 2008 update to the famous Wassup commercials. This video is hilarious, and a very revealing snapshot of the issues going on today. It’s both sad and great to laugh at all the chaos that sums up 2008. Check it out!
This is an old video now, but a classic in my opinion. When this came out, it got a lot of attention from the animation community. Even today it’s still a great piece of work.
One of the most well designed videos out there. It’s old now, but still solid. When I stumbled upon it almost 6 years ago, it blew my mind and still continues to inspire me.
